  1. Wash the black beans, soak for 4-6 hours, or overnight for tender beans.
  2. Put the soaked black beans in a blender with water. Then, blend the beans finely then strain the mixture through a layer of cloth or strainer (mosquito-net is the best). Squeeze tightly to get all the juice.
  3. Put the pot of freshly squeezed beans on the stove to a boil on low heat. Stir constantly to prevent the pot of beans from overflowing and sticking at the bottom of the pot.
  4. Boil in medium heat for about 10 minutes, then add the fresh milk and sugar to suit your taste. When the water boils again, turn off the heat.
  5. You can drink when it is hot or cold.
