Instructions
  1. Step 1: For the filling, we mix ground pork, raw pork sausage, minced wood ear mushroom, minced soaked noodles, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon seasoning seeds, 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
  2. Step 2: Remove the squid intestine, peel off the outer skin, wash and drain. Use a knife to make a short line at the end of the squid so that when stuffed, they will not bulge. Slowly put the filling into the squid, little by little and then press down to make it tight. Leave a space to close the squid head with a bamboo stick.
  3. Step 3: Steam the stuffed squid for 10 minutes until just cooked.
  4. Step 4: Heat 1 tablespoon of cashew oil in a pan, then add 20 gr chopped green onion stem to bring out the fragrance. Next, add the tomatoes to stir, cook for 5 minutes until tender.
  5. Step 5: Pour to the pan 80ml hot water, 2 teaspoons sugar, 2 teaspoons seasoning seeds, 1 teaspoon pepper and combine the mixture well. When the tomato sauce boils and becomes thickened, then add 10 gr chopped green onion and continue to stir.
  6. Step 6: Now put the steamed squid in the sauce pan, cook for 5 minutes for the sauce to absorb into the squid. Then turn off the stove and you’ve finished the dish!
  7. Your family menu will be more appealing to this food. The chewy squid with delicious meat filling and the sweet and sour sauce will definitely make both adults and children fall in love.
