Instructions
- - Step 1: Boil ribs for a few minutes, then wash. Cut tomatoes into quarters. Chop dried onion.
- - Step 2: Fry dried onion with cooking oil in a pot (also use this pot to cook the soup) with the medium heat until bringing out the aroma. Add the ribs and tamarind to stir. Season to taste. This step makes the ribs well-marinated. Remember not to use much cooking oil to avoid the scum and fat in the soup.
- - Step 3: Put the tomatoes in the pot, stir gently so that the soup can have an eye-catching red color without crushing the tomatoes.
- - Step 4: Add enough water to the pot (more than 1 bowl), then heat the pot again. Skim off the foam on the surface. Do not cover the soup because it might make the soup look dull.
- - Step 5: When the soup boils, add a little fish sauce, then turn off the stove. This way will keep the rich taste and also, the kitchen will not be smelly. Scoop the soup in a bowl, then sprinkle some green onions on top.
