- - Peel lotus root, wash and cut. Then, soak the lotus root the water mixed with salt. Next, stew lotus root and carrots for 15 minutes with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of MSG.
- -Soak straw mushrooms, abalone mushrooms, snow-white mushrooms in diluted saltwater, then rinse.
- -Add the mushrooms, pieces of young tofu into the pot of carrot and lotus root to cook for another 5 minutes. When the water boils, season to taste. Add pepper to taste.
