- Step 2: Fry tofu in a hot oil pan with low heat until two sides of tofu turn golden. Remove to a plate.
- Step 3: In another pot, add 2 tablespoons of lard, then add shredded green onion, tomatoes, 1 spoon of seasoning, 1/2 spoon of MSG, 1 spoon of sugar (season to make tomatoes cooked faster and softer). Stir for about 3 minutes, add 1/2 small bowl of water, then cover the stove to simmer, occasionally smash tomato by a spoon.
- Step 4: When the tomatoes are pureed, the sauce is thick enough (add more water if necessary), season the sauce to taste, put the tofu in, stir slowly and cover the stove again, heat 5 for the tofu to soak in the sauce.
- Step 5: Sprinkle some pepper and green onion on the soft tofu.
- (Tip: Lard will make the sauce more delicious and fragrant than cooking oil)
