                - Mince lean meat, marinate with 1 minced shallot, salt, fish sauce, MSG, pepper. Soak wood ear mushrooms to bloom, then chop them finely. Chop carrots, too. 
- Mix all with meat and a little cooking oil. 
- Separate large leaves of cabbage, rinse, and then blanch for easy-wrapping. 
- Spread cabbage leaves, fill the meat in and roll. 
- Put the cabbage in the pot to steam for about 10 minutes. Serve with soy sauce or chili sauce
