Chop ribs into bite-sized pieces, then rinse. Marinate with 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 3 tsp fish sauce, MSG, 1 tbsp oyster sauce.
Put some oil in a frying pan and then add 2 teaspoons of sugar to cook until slightly burnt to create a nice color. Pour the water marinating the ribs into the pan, add 1 cup of water and some pepper to cook until the ribs are soft and absorbent — season to taste.
